We welcome applicants who identify as Muslim from any tradition, sect, or cultural background. This fellowship celebrates the full diversity of the global Muslim community.
Eligibility Requirements:

Everything you need to know about the AGL Fellowship
Is this fellowship fully funded?
Yes. The AGL Fellowship covers all expenses including international travel, accommodation, meals, and program materials for all three in-person workshops. Fellows also receive a $10,000 scholarship grant.
Who can apply?
We welcome applicants aged 22–29 who identify as Muslim from any tradition, sect, or cultural background. Candidates must demonstrate English proficiency (B2 or above) and a track record of leadership or community impact.
What is the time commitment?
Fellows commit to three 2-week in-person workshops (July 1–14 in 2026, 2027, and 2028) plus a minimum of 2 hours per week for online learning, mentorship sessions, and community engagement throughout the two-year program.
Where are the in-person programs held?
Workshop locations rotate internationally to expose fellows to diverse contexts and communities. Specific locations will be announced after fellows are selected.
How competitive is the selection?
The AGL Fellowship is highly selective. We seek exceptional individuals who demonstrate both proven leadership and deep commitment to positive change. The selection process includes an application review, interviews, and reference checks.
Can I apply if I’m currently employed or studying?
Yes. Many of our fellows balance the program with professional or academic commitments. The online components are designed to be flexible, and the in-person workshops are scheduled during July to minimize conflicts.
